Sometimes inspiration does not come with drum rolls, but on dragonfly legs.
On an ordinary day, at a table in the sun, she settled down: light as breath, playful as summer wind. Not a fleeting passer-by, but a loyal visitor. Again and again she returned—on my head, my chair, my shoulder—only to me. It didn't feel coincidental, it felt special.
As if she chose me and wanted to say: 'stay calm, stay true to yourself, everything moves as it should, you are exactly where you need to be.'
Since then, she has been my silent muse and I often think of her. The dragonfly, symbol of lightness and depth, of freedom and embracing change. The wafer-thin balance between movement and rest. Of how something small can carry so much meaning.
She now dances through the fibres of Griffel-Gifts & DDesign: in details, in colours, in stories. She reminds me to create with soft wings, but always with meaning.
If you look closely, you will see her. He who feels, will understand her.
